The Aligarh Institute of Technology (AIT), Karachi was established in 1989. It is a Polytechnic Institute for young women and men that provides theoretical and practical courses of instructions in a number of technologies leading to Diploma of Associate Engineer (DAE) awarded by the Sindh Board of Technical Education.
