An output device is any device used to send data from a computer to another device. electronic or electromechanical equipment connected to a computer and used to transfer data out of the computer in the form of text, images, sounds, or other media.

1) Impact printer
2) Non Impact printer

Impact Printer

A printer that prints by mechanical impacts. a printing device in which a printing element directly strikes a surface (as in a typewriter).  It uses a print head that hits the surface of the ink ribbon.
